Set up fingerprint recognition

1. From the home screen, swipe down to access the notifications screen.
2. Tap the settings icon.
3. Tap Passwords & security.
4. Tap Fingerprint unlock.
5. Enter your PIN, pattern or password if you've already set one up, then tap Next. Note: if you don't already have a PIN, pattern or password setup, you will be asked to set one up here.
6. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor which is located on the power button, on the right edge of your device. Be sure to adjust the position of your finger between attempts.
7. Continue to place your finger on the fingerprint sensor.
8. Move your finger slightly on the fingerprint sensor to record the edges of your fingerprint.
9. Continue to place your finger on the fingerprint sensor.
10. Tap Done to finish adding your fingerprint.
