1. | Properly insert your nano-SIM into the 5G hub. If you need extra support for this, please see How to insert the SIM.![]() |
2. | Insert the charger cable into the device's power outlet.

3. | Plug the other end of the charger into a socket.![]() |
4. | It will take a few minutes to start up the first time it's switched on. You're ready to set up your 5G hub when the WIFI light is solid white.![]() |
5. | From your smartphone's home screen, tap the Three app.![]() |
6. | Enter your number and tap Enter.![]() |
7. | Tap the drop-down icon.![]() |
8. | Tap Broadband.![]() |
9. | Tap I have Three Broadband.![]() |
10. | Tap your 5G hub.![]() |
11. | Tap Get started.![]() |
12. | Read the information on-screen and find the best position for your 5G hub. If you need some extra support with this, please see Placement of the router. Once you're happy, tap Next.![]() |
13. | On this screen, you'll be asked to connect to your 5G hub. Tap Go to Wi-Fi settings. You'll be taken to your smartphone's Wi-Fi settings. Follow the instructions in the app to get connected. Once connected, tap Next.![]() |
14. | Your smartphone will now start to connect to your 5G hub. Please wait. This may take a few minutes.![]() |
15. | On this screen, you'll be asked to log into your 5G hub. Tap Manual log in.![]() |
16. | Enter your 5G hub's admin username and password, which can be found on the bottom of the 5G hub and then tap Log in.![]() |
17. | You'll be asked to change the login password. If you'd like to do this, enter and re-enter your desired password and then tap Change password. Otherwise, tap Skip.![]() |
18. | If you've chosen to skip changing the password, tap Yes, skip. Otherwise, skip to step 19.![]() |
19. | On this screen, you'll be asked if you'd like the app to remember your details. Tap your desired option.![]() |
20. | Your 5G hub is now set up. On this screen, you can see how your 5G hub is performing and you can get help positioning your 5G hub and testing your Wi-Fi speed.![]() |
