To enable or disable 4G using the Huawei HiLink app:
1.
On your mobile device, open the Huawei HiLink app. Your login password is the same as the Wi-Fi password, which can be found printed on the bottom or rear of your router.
2.
Tap the settings icon found at the top-right of the screen.
3.
Tap Network.
4.
Tap Network carrier.
5.
Tap Preferred network.
6.
Tap your desired option to enable or disable 4G.
Auto: 4G if available 4G only: 4G only 3G only: 3G only
To enable or disable 4G using the web browser:
1.
Open the web browser on your connected device and go to the URL 192.168.8.1.
2.
Enter the Login password. Your login password is the same as the Wi-Fi password, which can be found printed on the bottom or rear of your router.
3.
Select Network Settings from the top menu.
4.
Select Mobile Network Searching from the left-hand menu.
5.
Select Preferred network mode.
6.
Tap your desired option to enable or disable 4G.
Auto: 4G if available 4G only: 4G only 3G only: 3G only
