Activate and install an eSIM using the My Sky app
1. | On a separate device to the one you wish to install your eSIM on, login to the My Sky app. |
2. | Go to the mobile tab. |
3. | Select the SIM you wish to activate and choose eSIM as the type of SIM you would like to activate. |
4. | Decide whether to transfer your current phone number to this eSIM or receive a new phone number. Select the appropriate option. |
5. | Set Spend Cap or choose to set one later. |
6. | Select Activate my SIM. |
7. | Your eSIM is now activated and you will be presented with your QR code. You will need this to complete installation. |
8. | Check your email for your confirmation code. Have this available, along with the QR code, to install your eSIM. |
9. | Have the device you would like to install your eSIM on turned on and follow the manufacture's guidelines to install your eSIM. |
10. | When instructed, scan the QR code with the device you wish to install your eSIM on. Alternatively, you can enter the code manually with the keypad. |
11. | On the device you have activated the eSim on, follow the set-up steps which will include the confirmation code, this email will be sent to the address associated with your My Sky Account. |
12. | You will then be asked to provide the confirmation code emailed to you. This step cannot be skipped. |
13. | To complete the process, follow the guidance on screen which will be specific to your device manufacturer. |
