Perform a factory reset

Warning: Factory reset will permanently delete all your data and personalised settings, and will remove any applications you've downloaded and installed. Be sure to backup any data and files you want to keep before you do a factory reset. For more information please see Backup and restore data on iCloud.

You may also lose any messages you have on the phone, all contacts if these have not been backed up to the SIM or an iCloud account and apps that you have downloaded from the App Store. All paid apps can be downloaded again using the relevant Apple ID information.
1. From the home screen tap Settings.
2. Tap Reset.
3. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
4. If you've enabled iCloud Backup, you'll be prompted to back up before resetting. Tap your desired option.
5. Tap Erase.
6. Tap Erase again.
7. If you're signed in to an Apple ID, you'll need to enter your password and then tap Erase a third time. Your device will now restart and you'll be able to complete the initial startup.
